The Florida Statewide End-Of-Course Assessments are intended for scholars to take at the end of an assessment's associated course. The End-Of-Course assessments included are the BEST EOCs (Algebra I & Geometry) and the NGSSS EOCs (Biology 1 & US History). Each of the EOCs are administered in one 160-minute session. Any scholar who has not completed the assessment by the end of the allotted time may continue working for up to the length of a typical school day. Additionally, a passing score (level 3 or higher) on the BEST Algebra I EOC is required in order for scholars to satisfy their Algebra I graduation assessment requirement. Please note, if your scholar has previously taken the BEST Algebra I EOC and was unsuccessful in satisfying their Algebra I graduation assessment requirement, and, are enrolled in a geometry course, they can satisfy that graduation assessment requirement with the BEST Geometry EOC (if a level 3 or higher is achieved).
