The Florida Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE) is an assessment that scholars take at he end of their time enrolled in a US Government course. Scholars enrolled in a US Government course are required to participate in the FCLE in accordance with Florida Statutes. Scholars who earn a passing score on the FCLE are exempt from the state's postsecondary civic literacy assessment requirement. The FCLE is administered in one 160-minute session. Any scholar who has not completed the session by the end of the allotted time may continue working up to half the length of a typical school day. Please review the information below regarding the FCLE for semester 2:
Resources: If you and/or your scholar would like to review the computer-based practice tests at home, the practice tests and answer keys are available at Florida Statewide Assessments Portal Specific information regarding FCLE can be found here: K-12 Student Assessment
