Principal's Message

April 9, 2018

Dear Parents, Students and Community Members:

After 50 wonderful years in public education, 45 of those years serving as a head football coach, Athletic Director and Principal, I have decided it’s time for someone else to take their turn at calling the plays. I am announcing my retirement as Principal of Liberty High School. The decision was not an easy one and one that I make with a heavy heart because of the deep connection I have to Liberty High Schools students, parents, staff and the Poinciana community.

I feel blessed to have opened Liberty High School in 2007 and to have been a colleague to such a remarkable faculty and staff. I feel humbled by the fact that parents in this community entrusted me with their most precious commodity-their children, our students. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the support and encouragement I received during my time here at Liberty.

I have accepted a position at Tohopekaliga High School where I will end where I began – teaching Physical Education. I wish everyone success and happiness and am proud to call myself a Charger.
